Stage 4. The most vulnerable stage in painting; where every mark is necessary, where the artist needs patience to wait for the glaze to dry so the painting strokes arent lost.
I can see the eyes are wrong; the smile is lost in the eyes, without that emotion the whole painting will not work. I need to work on them to get back the emotion that existed in Stage 1.
I noticed in the print-out you're holding in your hand has no yellow circle in the background, why did you add it in the painting? to add joyful colors, or does it in a way represent something to you?
I love the stages of ur painting...reminds me of this piece by some artist i 4got his name who did pretty much the same thing but thru the 4 most significant stages in his life pretty much inspired by buddhism in that fashion but was discussing politics, religion, immigration and nirvana. Great minds think alike i suppose...
Good luck. I know you'll nail it In'Sha'Allah
