Many of you may know me as: Lateefa the photographer, but don’t know me as the illustrator/painter, so I thought I would post this. [link]

I decided I need to draw every day, at least an hour a day, and I needed to work on something fun, that will keep me working on new drawings/paintings/photography all the time. I am not producing for an exhibition at the moment because the thought of producing for an exhibition can sometimes change the way an artist makes work. I randomly pulled a photograph out of my archives and this was it, so now it’s a charcoal drawing on yellow/green canvas waiting to be turned into a colourful painting.
